On number 1, the outer element works an on number 2 the inner element works
Thanks
thats correct
no 1 is convection oven. uses outer element plus another element under the floor
No 2 is grill which is the inner element

Moderatorjontymox wrote:Finally found the fault… severely burned magnetron antenna, although Ohms resistance tested fine at customers’ and at my workshop!
I replaced the magnetron, and after a few seconds on a microwave setting serious arcing clear to see.
Looking more closely with the magnetron removed shows arcing has burned a small hole through the cabinet casing.
jonty
you wont read any resistance reading as its just the antenna
with the hole in the casing it will probably be beyond repair

Moderatordouble check you have them correct
normally the grill element is just the middle element unless the cooker has to grill settings in which case small grill is just the middle and large grill is both elements
in convection oven mode only the outer element is used

Moderatorinside at the rear
drum has to come out for access
look at the back of the drum inside. look through the holes at the centre rear. there are 2 allen keys one at 9 0clock the other at 3. once the front and belt is off you need to undo these to release it from the rear bearing

Moderatorsounds like you may have put the wires back incorrectly

Moderatorswitch is mounted on the side of the motor. to access bottom of the unit has to be removed which means getting towels to mop up the water
this fault could also be low pressure on motor output so you would need to check pump input. Bad news is on most of them the pump is against the rear wall so the sump needs to be removed
if its a really late on with the 3 phase motor be carefull as the pcb feeds 300VDC to the motor and the circuit has high voltage caps

put your hand down inside and find the door lock. feel for the door hook in the lock and push it to open it. you smy have to use a small screwdriver or a small nail to helponce the door is open you can take the door off the machine, strip and replace handle
some people have been able to open some doors with string but it does not work with all doors

Moderatorok that means you problems are on the high voltage side
fairly easy to diagnose that
but does not answer tripping problem as high voltage side cant cause that
