Dave

Moderatorfrom what i can see error codes are a series of lights on the control panel
if you post a pic of the panel after it fails will see what i can find

Moderatorwell the short answer is maybe
without access to Bosch tech info ( and its hard to get ) then you dont know the value of the ntc for a given temp
so you would have to fit one and hope as it could be the board
At about £50 its a hard call ( slighly cheaper on some trade sites and you can get 25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} trade discount from Siemens but then have to pay postage )

possibly
but
its built to a price point. years ago the tops of cookers were vitreous enameled. so never peeled. with the price demand of customers it is too costly to do this so you end up with paint that goesalso I went into an english electric cooker factory years ago. In those days they kept parts available for 25 years which was the expected product life. Today we a lucky if some parts dont got obsolete in under 5 years
all these problems are customer led, if you stop wanting cheap appliances instead of quality appliances then things would improve

Moderatordoes sound like it may be the inverter
but
these units use panasonic parts so you can get the inverter a lot cheaper than the £145 siemans wantlook at the inverter and there is a number on it poss starting F606
type that into ebay and there is a good chance you will find something that will do the same job. It will in fact be the identical part but not supplied by siemans
also beware you are dealing with lethal voltages so you have to take suitable precautions
I cant promise a new inverter will cure it but it does sound likely

Moderatorwhen working as an oven it works with 2 elements and one is under the floor of the oven
get lots of them where customer complains oven does not get hot enough and the lower element has failed

Moderatorcan be various things including dirty waveguide cover or comtamination on the aerial
also customers dont seem to realise that its bad to turn microwaves on with nothing in it. those waves have to go somewhere so its more liklely to flash over
