ModeratorRe: screw fell out of pocket
all this depends on how big the screw is
on Zanussi if its a bigger screw it can get caught at the front of the drum or if your lucky is down by the heaterhad a lot of success with wire coathangers if you can see the screw you can hook it out
if its down the front you may be able to see it by putting your head in the door and looking down between the inner and outer drum
if its underneath you need to remove cases and remove heater or a hose and work it out
its not easy but with practice can be donebest of luck

ModeratorRe: Hpt dw DWF 30P/7 (Bosch) pcb repair. Detail required.
checked the dishwasher i have different board
by the look of the damage is there any way this has got wet cant see a simple relay failure causing such damage
will keep an eye out but dont know how long it will be before i get the same board
i would look at all components directly connected to blown ic you need to work out current path as there must be more broken components even if they are just resistors

ModeratorRe: No Hot Water – Bosch SGS5342GB/17 HYDRO SENSOR
as Martin stated earlier it could be the circuit board in face you have gone a lot further than i would have with this fault as you can check for heater continuity without removing it
check pcb for bad solder joints on the heater relay its very common and would have been my first choice

cant tell you how to get part off but it will be clipped in somehow you just have to look carefully and find out how
my next try would be to drop out the pump, take out off the outlet hose and see if there is something blocking the outlet of the pump. most blockages occur at ends or bends
if you are luck its one of the bosch machines where you can access pump from underneath.
unplug machine, tilt machine back to 45 degrees and either get someone to hold it or tilt it back to a wall and look underneath. if you can see pump you will have to remove kickstip at bottom then the bolts holding pump. as you drop it down beware of the wire, it just plugs in then remove hose and check
you can then blow through hoses both way and look for blockagesDave

ModeratorRe: WF02465GB not draining pump ok
you need to find out where the blockage is
tip
fill machine then stop the programme
select drain programme but do not start
hold the outlet hose about half way with one hand and start programme with the other. if you feel the outlet hose expand then the blockage is somewhere in the end of the hosedont know how your machine is connected to drain but i have had more than a few fat blockages when people have put fat down the sink
hope this helps

have got a bosch dishwasher here will strip prog out and have a look if you have not had a reply by tomorrow
from look of chip and wiring i would guess switch mode chip
somthing like TNY253 /4 /5 etc
they are used on a lot of pcb’s if i am right there will be a small transformer on the other side of the board. you will need to have a close at other components this is quite a bang. get a jewelers eyeglass and have a good look

you cna normally disconnect heater on zannussi’s the prog will sense no temp rise and skip heating phase. disconnect anything else and you will get a fault code
put machine into engineering mode and get an accurate fault code and go from there

correct part number may be 481236018018 it looks very similar take a look yourself ebay advert says it fits WA9430WS
the stock number is just meant to hide real part number to stop google search
got one on ebay item no 250835249193 but its over £70
since it is only the back end that wears out you may be able to find another pump to graft on
hope this helpsDave

ModeratorRe: Blomberg 1500AW washing M/C fuses blow randomly
this has got to be a wire chaffed through where a wire will touch the metalwork when there is a weight in the machine
carefully look at all wire that go near metal work and when you look imagine the drum being 3 inches lower with water and washing in
