Re: Fridge freezer problem in Malta

if its a 12v fan there must be a printed circuit board controlling it.
fimd the board and look for damage

Re: hotpoint WD 63S tripping rcd after cycle

I agree it a bit weird does it trip as the door unlocks or a minute or so after ?

does it happen every time ? (intermittent faults are a pain)

try disconnecting tumble dryer heaters and running programme see if it does it then. if customer does not use dryers elements can get damp over time

if the machine is left switched on will it trip over and over again or just the once?

As for motor if you think it may be carbon dust there is no reason you cant disconnect earth to motor for a test while you are there. no earth means it cant trip rcd as it is mounted on plastic tub

never done them and would not know how lucky only have 1 employee.
its a sad state of affairs when people cannot take responsibility for their own actions and even worse when lawyers win cases on this sort of rubbish.
life is full of risk but you have to be sensible. These sort of cases should only suceed if the employee was forced to do a task that was unreasonable to expect them to do. you can pull your back tying you shoe laces and getting out of bed. how far will this over protective health and safety situation go?
i live test machines all the time. i hold live pcb’s in my hands and check components. health and safety would have a field day if i asked anyone else to do it

only place i found any parts was europarts maddocks
    europart.co.uk
they list a boot , pump, interlock, and door handle
looks like it might be a Fagor machine

    may be worth a ring

if it tripping the rcd you are looking for an earth fault. door lock does not have an earth so unless its wet cant be that
    megger all elements and motor

    Re: Hotpoint WM11P running on

you have to also check the number of clicks some have 1 2 or 3 stages
this one looks like a 2 stage ( should have term numbers 11,12,13 + 21,22,23 ) therfore it should click twice. the problem, if there is one, will be on the lower set (11,12,13). As the water drains out if the lower one does not drop out some machines can run on.
try just a spin see if it runs on then. if no then prog is prob ok. then try last rinse and spin see if it does it then. if it does try it again but this time during spin give the switch a tap. its a case of trial and error but you have to get the correct switch for your machine otherwise you have to adjust all the perameters of the switch and that can take time

I think EMW test and recon these timers you could ask them

check for blockages in pressure circuit or pressure switch

a lot of old machines if pressure switch stuck just starts prog again

    try

Start of Customer Service Test Programme:
With pre-wash and short wash buttons depressed, set rotary selector knob to ?gentle spin?.

this starts test prog and should reset faults

Re: Neff Dishwsher Spray Arms not rotating

if its not a blockage its a motor problem

take both bars off. check for blocked jets and clean them out

fill and start machine without bars in and when motor starts let it run for 5 secs to push any rubbish through
replace bars and see what happens

if this fails you need professional help
