you need to put it into enginnering mode and look for fault codes

your descriptions are a bit vague but

    the first one

if on spin the clutch on top of box is going round but machine does not spin then yes most likely clutch

second machine if motor always starts but no movement then will normally be drive coupling

gearboxes dont fail very often mechanically but have had the odd one

would look at exhaust stats first sound likely you could bridge them for a quick test while you are there

sound like element is either not working at full power or tripping out check for air flow problems check drum seals for integrity in case air is leaking in

    hope this helps

not unusual for spin clutches to be contaminated with gearbox oil

may need to change box as well

easy fit remove paddle then gearbox is only held on by 3 bolts comes out with clutch attached

possible door lock machine wont do anything with door unlocked

this machine has a diagnostic mode you need to get a local engineer to access it and see if there are any clues
i take it no other light flash on the front of the machine

if this is the same as the ones i have in a local care home they are rubbish you have to change them and they are about £4 or 5 each

there is a ‘D’ shaped hole in the middle that wears and you will never successfully glue it and if you do you may make more probs for the future

have noticed some of the later ones they have reduced the diameter to reduce leverage but i await the next failure

    Re: meggers

you have to remember that in use all machine are subject to 230v rms

rms means route mean square that is the equivalent dc voltage but the mains is a sinusoidal wave which means the max voltage is 1.4 times this which is 325 volts (and most voltages are higher than this)

at higher voltages you will get more leakage to earth from heaters etc so a 9v meter will not show it

since these leakage curents can upet electronics or trip rcd’s a megger can be a useful test

    sound like a weird fault

was it the same with the original boards

take it you have checked heater etc for continuity in case board does checks before it starts

Re: bosch t dryer WTE6920 GB/01 DEAD SILENCE!!!! HELP

if it is a relay you can check yourself but you have to operate the pcb with accees to relay coil terms if you get a voltage at coil and relay does not close you have found it
have just done this on a bosch dryer that is not heating relay had 9v on coil but not operating have just got new relay will fit tomorrow and find out only stand to lose £4 if i am wrong not a bad gamble
