Re: Whirlpool top loader no motor drive.

i did not like these machines at first got used to them now most parts are very easy to fit and maintain they look a lot harder than thet actually are

can fit this clutch in under 10 mins cant do that in most other machines

    Re: Bosch Dryer WTA4007GB/07

this is a lot easier than it looks

    remove top and back

    remove covers over heater

undo drum centre bearing at rear and there is enough room to spring drum and get belt through

put bolts back in let belt flop down at back of drum and there is enough slack to push belt through back of fan chamber ease it round fan and back through the hole all that remains is to stretch belt on drum by turning drum by hand slowly

took me 10 mins the other day dont take off motor or fan

    hope this helps

dont know this machine but some of the older hotpoint machines used to do the same thing if the edge connectors were not making proper connection worth a try

you could have a word with emw and see if this is a fault they have heard of

nice fault have no idea but i had one this week with and e51 fault (shorted motor triac) motor measured .22 meg after drying with hair dryer got it to .75 meg and machine worked so your reading should not affect it

sounds like you need to pack a hair dryer and warm all machione electrics up and see what happens

    hope you find it

i take it that you have checked the door switches are working correctly as these are set to blow the fuse if microswitches either fail or stick

Re: Indesit condensor t/d motor humming

    agree with wilf

neutral is a permanent connection and to get reversing live is fed to one side of the cap then the other

try disconnecting the wire from timer to motor there are two of them one to each side of cap diconnect 1 turn on if no joy try the other one see if that gives you movement

    hope this helps
