    Re: Qualtex on line ordering?

163 days into the website and not much improvement. ok so they have done a few tweeks but it is still not the user frendly platform i would have hoped
their tweeks as far as i see it are as follows

a qualtex only button that does not bring up all the qualtex parts 5/10

a veiw recent orders button but not the ability to search the ref for customer ordered parts and this info can be got off you statement button a complete waste of coding time 0.5/10

a website preferences button tha gives the following

an ability to veiw up to 50 items per page 10/10

an ability to turn on an off prices on start up can see a use for this but i wont use it 8/10

an ability to raise the rrp price by a percentage useless in its current form as there is no distinction between gen and non gen part and you cant add 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} to a gen price but you can get away with it on some non gen what i want is another box which is uplifted but i want to see the original price to enable us to know the retail price of the gen items 4/10

the back order screen is a huge problem no way of deleting items off it. if you click add to basket and then delete off order it still stay on b/o. qualtex delete thing off b/o when they feel like it and delete my customer refs as well and to top it all the items we cant delete are packed and shipped to when we dont want them just recieved 35 pairs of brushes i dont want. their is no way of knowing when you order something that this item is on back order as a consequence we get duplicate items and cant delete them. even phoneing the call centre does not delete items off this list
all the above a very bad carriers who dont deliver on time have tried 3 different carriers all are bad but i have no come back and no amount of complaints does any good worst was DHL we need some sort of a compensation when carrier doas not deliver dhl tried to deliver to us a 6pm we went home a 5 and we told them so some of the time its a day late and on 1 occasion arrived 4 days late you can imagine the customer complaints

to top it all they have sacked my rep. I now have no face to face contact with a firm i spend over £1000 a month with. How can i iron out problems over the phone. You cant talk about problems to the call centre you would never be off the phone. In fact the connect rep calls in and i dont use them very often am thinking of changing something i would not of thought about 12 months ago i asm really getting unhappy and am getting screwed on price sometimes i can buy the parts cheaper on ebay and i should be able to compete on ebay and make a profit

    how does anyone else feel

Dave a very unhappy Qualtex customer ( for now)

    Re: Neff half turn elements

stopped using non gen because of failure the ones i had from qualtex where formed wrongly and the elements where too close to each other causing a hotspot and early failure

you did not mention that the machine was overfilling and flooding so i am assuming this does not happen

so i agree with smartin the water must be exiting through the outlet hose take it out and hold it in a bowl or over the sink if u can see if it runs then

think u are right but may be fixable but have no info on this machine but this is what i would look for on this fault

look at pcb. is there a capacitor big one about 1cm by 2 should hve a value either 1uf or 1.5uf if so this is power supply to board get them going all the time hoover t/dryers smeg dishwashers ariston and many more

if these go down its like having low batteries has enough power to fill but turn the motor on and voltage drop you can see the logic

they are only cheap and an easy fix if this is the case

    hope this helps

have seen these tricks before form not only the general public who think you are going to supply parts so they can find the fault on their machines but also from trade customers who get the diagnosis wrong and return the part they have had in circuit to test if they have got it right

got to be an airflow problem not much else it can be check to see if the seals are ok this dryer is the vacuum type ie motor sucks air out of drum and the only way air can get in is over the element if door seal missing or drum seals damaged air will get in and bypass element causing overheat

will be capacitor 8uF if i remember correctly bit of a pig to get at complete front has to come off if its not a condensor its not too bad but the condensors have a lot less room

watch out for the little pcb at the top you have to remove the front of the dryer and lower it away carefully with 1 hand while unscrewing it wtih the other will snap if you get it wrong

    hope this helps

E40 is the fault code the customer sees

    it could be

    E41 door open

E42 problems with door closure door not locked after 15 secs , door open in cycle for more than 15 secs or still locked at end of cycle for more than 3 mins

E43 triac controlling door lock faulty

you would have to go into engineering mode to get specific faulty

    Re: resistor values

this is more current than voltage based you need a current of approx 20ma through the leds if you take 240v and 20ma R=V/I this gives you 12000 allowing for voltage increase when rectified i would go with 18k cant go wrong with that if it goes across the mains it pulls 13 ma and emits 3.2 watts so make sure you use a big enogh one

Re: Indesit WD12X UK dial keeps turning

have found on these machine the slightest fault to earth sends the timer into a spin

i usually disconnect earth to machine ( obviously dont touch metal work we do so hate to lose members ) switch machine on and try if it does not spin you can reconnect earth to see if its still spinning if it is scrap it usually motor causes it

    agree with the penguin

i usually remove the plastic flap that causes it if i remember correct this dishwasher has a half load facility that turn off the bottom deck

valve cover only 4 screws remove flap and replace most customers will be happy with that they never use half load anyway

Re: Belling 647 main oven stat wiring change

not sure if the same as the one i had but i assume its a fan oven

    3 wires on old stat

    live wire
    fan live feed
    element live feed

all they have done is seperate the fan feed on another switch link a live to this other switch and put your fan feed on it

you have to have a continous feed to the fan and the element goes through the stat when you think about it its very simple circuits
