Moderatorwell its either
1 no power to board
2 power chip gone
3 other chip on board gonebe careful there is 300v DC on main input caps
the chips have a fold back circuit. if there is a short on the board the chips will turn off the power and then turn it on again slowly to see if the short is still there.
if you measure the voltage on the low voltage caps as the board is powered it should be a steady voltage. if its rising and falling again up down up down etc then you can say the chip is ok but the board has gone
if you have no voltage at all then its poss chipDave

Moderatorthe filter on these is a gravity trap meant to catch larger items
you could fill it with water with nothing in. and watch it drain. if it goes resonably quickly leave it

Moderatorstart by sending a letter, signed for delivery with an letter and invoice stating thats its beyond your payment terms or words to the like . keep copies
state something along the lines of if we dont recieve payment within 14 days of this letter we will be forced to make an application to the small claims court to effect recovery of this Debt. If this proves necessary you will become liable for any court costs involved and out of pocket expenses plus interest on the money outstanding at the current rate of 8{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}
try and see what happens
keep a note of any expenses you have postage etc so you can justify later. its worth a try

Moderatorhave you checked the chip on your board is TYN266GN ?
when these chips fail the resistor goes to about 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time

Moderatorlook for a low value resistor. fairly big one in relation to anything else. will be under 100 ohms and often green but not always. find it and test it
its job is to act as both a fuse and to stop high currents flowing on switch on
if it has gone change it but make sure ait a fusible resistor of the correct value and 3 watt
if it has gone also change the power chip like TNY but check the number on yours
