Moderatorsystem is a trade term for all the refrigertion gear. Compressor, eveporator. condensor, all the tubing and the refrigerant (gas)
once the compressor is running, if its not freezing, any of the control gear can be ruled out

this little tag is where the emergency open tag should be fittedyou need to see if yours has got one. then pull it down at the same time see if the door opens
if that fails you have to break the lock apart to get it open
