well I think the predictive text monster has been at this one
F5 is listed asClotted heating element relay contacts on the power electronic
makes no real sense to me but was wondering if the element had a lower insulation resistance when very hot

get hold of the lock on the inside
while applying pressure to slide the lock towards the door hole press in the nipple ( as you describe it). it should then slaide slightly to the left then unhook on the right

the original cap is made by epcos

well from diagrams looks like sides come off and motor is on right
you will need to front off first i would think

well i cant say if yours has failed or not without teating but its a common failure on these type of boards
peel off the label
it will be either 1uF or 1.5uF x2 type supression capacitor the only thing you have to watch is lead spacing so it fits the board
easy to get and really cheap. one of those jobs you can do for little outlay and even if your wrong its no big deal

see the component marked. this capacitor provides the power to the board and over time the lose value so the board gets less and less powerthis was probably your original fault

your claim would be against the retailer where it was bought

no model so cant see the works but early model used to give similar problems with damaged door seals

it is a fairly big strip down
you would also need to change bearing seal ( advisable while your there) plus you may need a tub half sealDave
