problem is you will only know for certain if you swop it

Moderatoryou can change the hose clamp but be careful you dont over tighten as its a plastic spigot
what they should have bone is put a bulge on the end of the spigot

saw one that was sharp built. the last one I saw had a door lock the same as one of the budget modelsbut if the door is as bad as you can it cant be up to the normal german engineering standard

as with a lot of manufacturers they make only a few products and the rest are bought in. Their fridges for instance are Leibherr and they are first class

Moderatora lot of glues these days are water soluble and that wont work in this case. in this case its flammable if near flames. so lots of ventilation
