have lost access to tech but from memory the belt needs to be positioned so it misses all the screws on the drum

well e25 is the code for blockage

have you checked the non return valve on the pump outlet

are you using an over long drain hose or set too high as this can cause problems

this is not an uknown problem but it is one with no common solution

first off you got a new board but there are 10 machines starting SMV40C30GB and the will most likely have different software but since it has the same problem as the old board then i wouls say it cant be the problem or at best its unlikely

the pump on these machines act as a sensor and the timer measure the work done to determine if its empty. it is possible the pump could be the cause. you could remove it and check for shaft play

but in the end you have to change it to find out if its the cause or not

why so many engineers its mad

if he though it was a wire why did he not trace it

    madness

this is probably down to times. he has so many calls to do so if he runs over he wont finish. so he dumps your job and moves on. have not got that luxury and its unfair on customers. everytime another engineer has to call someone has to wait in and if you work thats not convenient

    should fit

have fitted lots of these and never had one not fit yet

sometimes i have had to use the old metal casing and just fit the coil but works no problems

difficult to see pic but R2 does not look to clever either

the inportant thing for me is where the pin labelled goes to . I can see the whole board and io cant see the other side so i cant read the connector number. what i need to know is why these resistors blew and then we know if we replace them or the board they wont blow again

the rcd trips at 30Ma so you have to get down to under 10K to trip it

agree there we need to find out what these resistors connect to

some early model with old thermistor on the element used to blow to earth and damage resistors
