most miele gen seals are in the £90’s ish so if you called Miele not only would the labour charge be a lot higher the parts would be too

you are going deeper than we would as engineers

from the diagram you should be able to work out the trigger wires for the module as a way of testing it

there will be one trigger wire to start and stop motor
the other wires going to the module set speed wash , distribute and spin

most of the time problems like this are the motor control board

well the most likely fault is the motor board. if you just triggered the triac does not mean board is ok

did you check motor tacho. on some boards motor wont run with open circuit tacho

next is the reversing contacts at the rear of the timer and the contact that activates the module to start and stop motor

if all those are ok then its the module control contacts

there are 2 sections to the timer

the back cams move all the time, they do things like reverse the motor. and start and stop the motor. that will probably be the lower diagram

then there is the main cam switch which move one click every now and then. that does every thing else . valves. heater pump etc

just checked site still not working

google searched bring up flooded base but am sure you checked for that

got one hit from a guy that fitted a new fill valve. unit worked ok with old valve ( only swapped because it leaked in) but gave E40 with new valve in. Valve was generic as he could not source original

with that in mind the water turbine would be the place to look

these semi circular elements always seemed to fail more often

important thing is the fan as anything that slows the fan will over heat element

lastly is element quality I only fit Genuine or at a push Irca made elements

remember fitting a pattern element and watch it blow in 10 minutes. have never fitted one since

It has got one of these AGM72924807 shock absorbers at the rear but I don’t know if there is supposed to be a damper built into it or not. It also has a similar part (different part no) each side at the front along with a couple of traditional dampers.

there is a damper built into it see pics on Aswo

had to change the rear boot on one. That was real fun lol

only good thing is since the tub is fixed you can take all the sides off after undoing 1.3 million screws
