ModeratorNot sure what the difference is now. Too many years have passed.
the difference could be where it meets the tub. Got a feeling the change is the protector that closes the gap between outer and inner tubs

ModeratorWell mine has a notch. It’s to miss the door lock

Moderatorno that doide part as you put it is not needed to make it go
its probably a very high ohm resistor so expect 10 megs or so
could be just a faulty switch although flex breaks are the most common
Dave

Moderatorthis is getting more common on a lot of makes
probably find you cant take door apart even if you had the handle
there is a complete machine on Ebay with bearing failure in Burnley. no bids, min bid £25 just under 7 days to run
you could message and see if he would split and sell just the door

Moderatorcant remember the dart not seen many of them
the sebo X4 has a 2 core input cable but has a heat shrinked component that touches the metal handle. I assume for static build up or the like
can you post some pics of the switch etc

Moderatorwell I have the DBT32 version
in fact i have 2 of them
I do seem to remember there were 2 tubs and there was different outer tubs which used different gaskets
have a feeling the 32 was for the metal tub
