Moderatorcommon fault do it all the time. have done 2 in the last 2 weeks
you will get away with it over 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time by just replacing the chip and inrush / safety resistor

Moderatorhigh chance its made by vestel is there a long serial no ?

Moderatorits not going to be worth repairing as it will be a compressor failure
even if its a cheaper low gas problem you have to think how has it got out of a sealed system which means leak finding
scrap it

Moderatorbosch are not very helpful in their manuals about this
it does say some programmes cant use I-dos but does not say which or list the programmes
it also says if you select certain things it will remember for all future washes
was wondering if you have set this programme to manual dose and you have to tell it to revert
only guessing really and i would ring Bosch customer service and ask
they do need to improve manuals to include more comprehensive info on these complicated machines

Moderatorif you trurned it off while it was running it takes a while to come back on as it needs to cool down
if the compressor is hot later on and its not freezing then we may have a serious problem

Moderatorfirst as always is to check the power supply section of the pcb for output

Moderatorto control the fridge temp there will normally be a motorised flap controlled by a temp sensor
first off as always in these cases, make sure all the board you had repaired connecters are sucure and in the correct place

Moderator1 in warm weather expect the compressor to run a lot more
2 not sure how old this is but as systems get older and wear the efficiency goes down. this could mean it does not get as cold as it should and you may have ice on the back wall but unless the area of the evaporator where the thermostat probe sits get cold enough to turn it off it just continues till a huge lump of ice forms on the rear wall
are you getting a large lump of ice ?

Moderatorits always busier when it gets cold
