Moderatoryou have the salt cap inside the machine and a big plastic bottle under the floor at that point. you need to look at the bottle and see if its wet on the top. you could remove the left side to see better

Moderatordifficult to see from the video but it seems to be coming from around the water softner
had a few rust through the stailess tub round or under the nut securing the softner unit
check when it leaks and see if the is water on top of the softner which then drips down

Moderatorwater drips off the evaporator and falls into a sump so it can be pumped away
lack of drying can be either air flow or refigeration

Moderatorthe water softner has an electric valve attached to it
my guess is either
a the valve has stuck
b the timer is energising the valve at the wrong time or all the timeDave

the motor did run a bit and made a weird noiseit never ran again
took hose off and lots of play in the motor shaft
only place i could find a motor in stock was ASWO also listed but not in stock was a bearing kit for the motor. 3 to 5 week order time so wont be a quick job to try it
mine was 3 years old

And labour in China, Turkey etc is way less than anywhere in Europe.
K.
not to mention less health and safety regs, less workers rights etc
still think we are going to regret giving china all this power somtime soon

Moderatorwell cant fault that
that dryer is badly built and been causing problems for years
but its too costly to make things here, and most govenments have not helped it. we had work place pensions and now Labour arre planning more workers rights. All this makes us less competitive
