Moderatoroften there is another stat just to activate the cooling fan
Dave

Moderatorwell yes and no
if you get the reading on the board you could then check the triac on the board
look for the heatsink and you will see a 3 legged component soldered into the board. use the multimeter and check between the centre leg and either of the outer one. you should get no reading unless the component is faulty
if that component fails the motor accellerates like mad and then slows down as the board switches it off
would not expect E08 on that fault but it cant hurt to checkDave

Moderatorthere is always an overheat stat that will trip if the cooling fan is not running
some units the clock stays on and some it doesn,t. I dont know which you cooker is but
you need to find the fan and check it turns freely and if it is is it electrically sound. You need to do this to eliminate it as the fault

Moderatorthe big problem as always is it has to be cost effective for everyone. not only the engineers but it will need staff to run and organise it
plus you need plans for akward areas, am sure part of scotland are more expensive to service
if theory it sounds good. In practice well you know more about the logistics then I do K

Moderatorremove door lower panel to access lower cover
take off lower cover
then you can see underneath so you can run and look for leaks
Dave

Moderatorsince the lamp is led they probably do not expect failure as often as old bulbs
by the looks of the cover the knob is blocking it so try removing it and look for screws
Dave

Moderatortimer is always first to check as it controls main oven only
have sent you wiring diag
can see why you thought fan but element would still get hot even if fan fails completely
