Hi Guys,

would any one have wiring diagram for this by any chance? the fridge does not start, PCB and compressor OK so I think it could be one of those where the built in sensor (in the foam)goes and we have to bypass it

Please let me know if someone has this information

Thanks for your reply, the model no is WDI1440GB/03. The old one did have the sensor but it is like a long probe (like oven thermostat bellow)
the old one has red covering on the terminal and has connections for three wires, if I can somehow post the pic then that will help you a lot to understand

I left the new NTC unconnected but it will not control the temp I am sure

thanks for the reply but i never bought from bosch direct instead through qualtex, masterpart etc and both of them are saying part is obsolete, does this mean i can still get it direct from bosch?

Hi Martin,

Well they were using 5 in one tablets and it had created foam in the dishwasher so I persume that is why it overflowed. Sorry when I say dishwasher flooded I meant to say it flooded the base and the anti flooding device kicked in.

as for the reset, i tried reseting it by pressing and holding the two buttons, it canceled the programme and then no matter which programme I try it does the same thing.

Well I thought that these motors are induction motors so if the capacitor was gone then it would not run on the spin cycle

Well it is not blocked.

It starts taking water in and then when it takes the required amount,it cuts off and then when it needs to spin it does not.

Also it drains properly.

Well I have calibration certificate with it that is till may 2007.

Secondly if I only check the heaters then that should not be a high value(under 20Mohms) but still gies me OR symbol with 1.

I persume the 3rd and 4rth light that are flashing are from left.

That indicates there is a problem with the NTC thermistor.It has either short or open circuit.Or connection to the thermistor.

Please switch off the appliance if investigating.
