    Re: Repairs@ Module

    possible reapirs@ marketing idea,
you may be doing this , as i havent seen how an unregisterd user see,s UKW???..
a lot of web designers put a small advert at bottom right hand side of screen ,right next to the scroll down arrow, idea behind it is most people have constant eye contact with that part of the screen as they have to check mouse pointer is there to scroll??,
user clicks on advert by accident as mouse pointer has moved on to add instead of down arrow??, but hopefully by this time the user has read enough posts and decided they wanted repairs @ anyway…
does this make sense,, as most of ma stuff disnae

yeh it does apear to be a bit of a logistical mine field, but if it could be done im sure most of the members would rather buy from UKW,knowing that the money was going back into the ukw community.

Re: Whirlpool gen 2000 G2PDWI/1. reverts back back to rinse

just an after thought -but may be worth checking,
there is a sump pressure switch just in front of the ntc, half turn takes it out, give it a good wash with hotwater, as it gets all gunged up, and can cause d/w to revert to fault condition..

    Re: Gas cooker installations

we had this disscusion with a corgi health and safety rep,
R.E. working in dual fuel cookers. ie repairing electrical parts …
you can work on them legaly, the problem arises if after a week/month a gas leak developes and leads to a fatality, you would be deemed as the last person at the cooker,
what the corgi rep said was that they would defend you in court as you have not touched the gas side, but you have to then convince a jury of 12 who has no knowledge of cookers that it had nothing to do with you..
this seemingly applies whether your corgi or not.
this converstation was about a year ago, and was in scotland, so the info might be old and might not apply nationwide ???…

having said that, gas installers/plumbers etc dont realy want to touch the electrical side, and probaly dont have the electrical test equipment to test that electrical repair has been done properly and is plugged back into a safe circuit .
seems a bit of a mess, do you need to be corgi and have your 16th edition to satisfy the been counters ???..
