    Belling 663

    281114900 is the terminal block.

clock not listed. is a 663 a shed exclusive model?

might be worth a call to belling spares if you havent got access to a trade spares distributor. im afraid none of my suppliers now list timer for new world bellign or stoves. which is odd…

Does anyone know the price of the motor 1246179081 and PCB 97391452111002/8 (configured) Neither of them listed at Masterpart ?

in case its still down, connect lists these:

module @ £127 retail (matches prt no)
motor @ £205 retail (done on model no as prt no not recognised)

dont know which motor it is as teh pic wont show the label, all i have to offer is that its a 1600rpm sole 😆

would it be entirely feasible to consider if its a currys model it could have had an inferior non-standard (i.e cheaper alternative) spec motor fitted in order to provide a machine at a stupidly low price, which is why currys now dont want to get involved???

Will do that, but what actually causes the motor to blow like that? its not been heavily used – 2/3 washes a week – and will it have shot the pcb as well? Customer has already inferred replacing machine if it is the motor so will check Armature for lumps later today, didnt notice any when i checked the carbons, which were fine. Could it have blown the coil instead?? although i did get continuity but would that actually mean anything?

    machine spec:
    PNC 914211108(01)
    SN 62900782

    motor spec as follows:
    14014714
    MCA 38/64-148/ZN37
    LINE C04 WK20/06

on a wider scale a bigger concern for me is this might be a common fault on these motors if it was a dodgy batch as we have sold a fair few aw1001s around that time…

already replaced 2 even more youthful ones where the pcb has popped when the interlock failed…

def not that, because i spun drum by hand before peeking underneath to make sure the bearings had collapsed. ran very smoothly but with the resistance you would expect, and wen i looked underneath the belt was all present and correct. definitely the more electrical burning motor smell rather than burning rubber 😡 .

luckily enough we were parking up as it was being delivered cos we were supposed to be installing it along with a s/h cooker the landlord had… needless to say they had to take it back again.

whilst on the subject of handling issues, ive also seen comet carry a hotpoint fridge freezer on its side, horizontally, so if u were looking at the front the top was on the rhs. im not a refgn expert but it thought if you HAD to lay them horizonatally they had to have the LHS down as you look at the front, not the rhs?!

When it comes ot integrated refrigeration, we vitually exclusively fit the gorenje integrated refrigeration, unless customer specifically requests a known brand, and even then its only bosch neff hotpoint or zanussi.

With a 5yr p&l warranty. decent internals, european build quality, and a price tag around the £450-500 mark its worth paying a little extra for a gorenje over the equivalent chinese fridgemasters, baumatics, prolines, that the sheds will sell you…

Ken, are the beko integrated ref’gn made in china too? just wondered as theyre all the same family

    Re: induction hobs

If you want a bit more choice, Stoves offer a hybrid ceramic/induction hob with 2 hobs of each type of system, or a full induction hob.

Both hav the smaller rings at the front.

    S5-C600HY & S7-C600TCi

    http://www.stoves.co.uk/Built-in-hobs/E … s_c14.aspx
    for more info…

Stoves stablemate, Belling have also just released an induction hob onto the market too. I would imagine its based on the Stoves, with a slightly more economical price tag 😀
    http://www.belling.co.uk/Built-in-Ovens … _s110.aspx

Both Hotpoint and Indesit are also releasing revised hybrid hobs onto the market as well as candy hoover etc, and zanussi and aeg.

OR there is always de dietrich parent company, fagor, who offer
    this:
    http://www.fagor.co.uk/60cm-zone-induct … -p-46.html
One hting i did note with teh fagor was that all the hobs were the same output…

Also can I be cheeky to ask where have you seen the de dietrich hob? and what model was it for? and how much you have seen it for?

Re: Beko D3422 Dishwasher…. to buy or not to buy

    LOL im not!

I just mentioned those 2 brands as that beko happens to be at the same price point as an indesit and haier… which would be a fair assumption dusty would be comparing it to.

Im not saying the beko is less reliable than a haier. Far from it!

If you re-read it you will see im saying it wont be less reliable than a haier!!! i.e the same or better!

Because bekos do have their problems. Seems to depend where you get it from really as the ones we have seen seem to be prone to leakages. Every one so far has also been from the net, and considering ive witnessed expert logistics’s handling skills first hand which could be the reason why… (no disrespect to the majoity of their staff, but virtually dropping a machine off the back of a tail lift so it lands and tips backwards onto its edge, and then hurriedly being carried into a customers home as though it never happened is shocking)

Peanut how long have you had the d/w, and how hard have you used it because its not an “old” model. I only ask out of interest because ive been doing a quite a few circulation-motor impeller replacements lately on a batch of 4-8 year old boschs and neffs :S
i dont know whats been happening lately but no4 this month is on its way to the w/shop next week!!! had 2 last month as well
