Good point Martin. The logixx (most expensive Bosch) is a little over the top.

PERSONNAL, I don’t like any condenser dryer. They are too complicated, slow, expensive, unreliable and high mantainance.
But if you HAVE to have one, I’d recommend the Bosch, and also recommend buying the most expensive Bosch you can afford to get the greatest quality.
Having said that, I think you should buy a vented dryer and use the window option.

That’s all I want to say besides, ‘Good luck in the final.’ 😀

ParticipantRe: Neff washer/dryer not spinning
The new brushes need time to ‘bed in’. They are un-powered when they are new.
Give the washer an easy time for a couple of washes (no bedding or towels). Even do a wash with no clothes inside.
If this doesn’t work, call the engineer that repaired the machine.

I’ve heard about them….
‘What? No love, your dishwasher isn’t leaking. You’ve been throwing buckets of water around to try and claim a new kitchen off us. It ain’t gonna work, bye.’

I suppose you’ve all heard about the 3-phase motor on some models (Ultima it think). Because it is 3-phase, there’s a big bank of capacitors that will give you one heck of a bang if you stick your hand in just after you’ve tested the machine. Apparently, you only have to wait 5 minutes for it to discharge. 5 minutes!!! ‘Go on then love, 2 sugars please, I’ve got time.’
I just hope Merloni aren’t going to kill any customers with that!

ParticipantRe: Can’t get this bl***y range cooker out!!!!
I been to loads, and I mean LOADS of new kitchens, were the customer has got a free washer that comes with the kitchen. This is usually the cheapest, intergrated, piece of p**h available (diplomat/servis), and then the fitters tile inch thick tiles up to the front of the washer, which is sunk behind the tiles and fits flush with the work-top, so you can’t pull it over the tiles.
So, the washer breaks at 13 months old (coz the module/belt has broken), I come along and say call ‘Oh dear.’ But it’s fun smashing out customer’s newish tiles with a chistle, because they usually don’t what to do it.

Indeed! I’m sick of customers calling me a plumber!!!! Sorry, to any actual plumbers out there, but this job is far more skilled. The annoying thing is, plumbers in general have higher labour charges.
BTW, congratulations on 1000 posts kheath.
