Re: White Knight CL427WV – not heat

It’s probably one of the thermostats, or the heater.

It’s engineer time, unless you know how to safely test the indivisual compoents 😕

Power of first, if your having a look!

Please don’t! They’re ***m! And they’re not even cheap on whitegoods, or fast!

You could check if the red button has popped out, on the back of the machine, and if that’s ok, report back 😉

The condensing unit is the large plastic (see-thoughish) tub thing on the back of the main tub. I say see-throughish, because it should be fluffed up!

To acess it the washer’s cabinet has to be split, which is top off, then the whole back half of the machine comes off. If you can’t do that, I’d call an engineer then! 😉

    Yup! 😕

If you use the search facility, there’s lots of posts about this.

Note: It might not be your condensing unit!

Hmmm!, That could be a blocked condensor unit?

It dries the clothes, does it?

Unless you have the patience of Noah, use Repairs@, or if you wanna try it yourself, unplug the machine first.

    There’s a company called Create in Liverpool…

    http://www.createuk.com/

But, that’s Liverpool, Most appliances will be scrapped! Expect a few that past by Goatboy. I see alot of used appliances. Some are reconditioned, but most are scrapped, because there knackered 🙁

I’m going home now. Good Luck Ian

I’d just look for shops that do repairs and sales, then phone them and ask if they have any reconditioned dishwashers.

And the rest of your post is disscussed at great length in the trade forums 😕 I would comment, but it could start yet another arguement/discussion with the trade guys. The only thing we all do agree on, is that spares are stupidly over-priced! 🙁

    Re: Indesit WG1130T question

That sounds like a faulty heater to me!

The machine will only fill with hot water, if you set a very hot water program. Even then, it still uses the heater to boost the water temperture up to whatever is required 😕

If you want a heater, email…

    spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

And unplug the machine before playing, please!

It’s not a fun job, but if you’ve got the time…

Repairs@ for a professional, or if your doing it yourself, unplug it first!

Re: Control module for Bosch SGS5312GB/12 dishwasher

I’ve heard alot of bad expierences from feebay! 😕

People are in my shop, and on the phone nearly everyday saying…

“I bought this **** of feebay, and I need it’s not doing this…”

    So I say…

“Give it back to whoever you got it off!”

And that’s when they start crying and moaning to me about feebay 🙁

I suppose being in London, you don’t have many independent appliance engineers, that have shops containing re-conditioned dishwashers. If it ws my dishwasher, I’d fix it, or look at a new one, not a second-hand one unless it has been reconditioned by a professional.
