Sounds to me that you have a badged Haier machine and I am afraid that the ones made around that time were not so good.
Apparently the latest incarnatioins are OK but that’s not going to help you too much.
Foaming up and problems with the baskets were the big issues.

Hi there.
Induction hobs are the most efficient hob on the market.
They are easy to keep clean because the ceramic glass does not heat up as much as on a normal ceramic, so it won’t have burnt on stains.
The only problem is that you need to use special pans to use this technology.
If you can run to a new set of pans then I would go for it.

Hi James,
This is a brand new model that has just been launched by Argos under the Homark banner.
It is a static oven in s/steel (cool touch door) with a gas hob with auto ignition sourced from Turkey packed in 1 box.

Yes this machine has had a chequered history.
FYI CDA have stopped selling the Haier model and have reverted back to a Whirlpool model (first deliveries into them last Friday).
Westinghouse also stopped using this model about 6 months ago.

The SK313X2 is from Meneghetti.

Hi Mike,
The CDA oven that you are interested in is manufactured by one of the largest OEM suppliers in Italy (Meneghetti) – They make for a lot of big names such as Atag, Whirlpool and Diplomat (MFI).
These are very reasonably priced and you may find that they have 2 grills (1 in each oven) as standard.

Sorry been away in China on a sourcing trip.
My understanding is that JTM are being used for Haier OEM cooling and some of the old White Westinghouse and Cookers branded stuff.
The rest of the PABL range is through AIS.
With regards to spares I am afraid that due to steep price increases from certain suppliers has caused us to change some of our appliance suppliers. The spares issue is mainly due to long lead times from China for the new products, which should settle down in the coming months.

My understanding is that the Philco brand is owned by Electrolux in America along with the White Westinghouse brand name.

Could be or alternatively it can be a problem with the door seal.
Applying a warm hair dryer to the seal can sometimes cure it.

The oven that you are asking about has now been discontinued and the replacement is a CD709.
