Insufficient rinse or overload sounds favorite. Has this problem just started and machine o.k. before ? If it was good then what is she doing different now?

    Re: Bra wire nightmare

I have had situations in the past, irrelevant what make of machine, where something has got caught between the front of the drum and the tank. With the customers permission I have levered away the front of the drum just wide enough to release the object (key, jewelry etc.) and then pushed the front of the drum back into place and planishing out as much as you can. The most damage I have left is a minor crease that has no functional nor cosmetic problems. I use a large, flat bladed screwdriver. Looks a bit barbaric but surprising how you can ‘make good’, afterwards and you don’t have to remove the machine. Try it on a ‘write off’ first if it sounds a bit daunting,
    Good luck,

Thanks but if it is the capacitor, why does the drum rotate[under load] at all?

This is a Sevis variant and I’ve found that 9 times out of 10 it’s the board.
Could always check the multiblocks for a poor connection due to vibration but doubt it. Check the board visually, sometimes find an obvious burn point. Expensive too.

Guessed it was brushes or so because of its age. Thanks, just wanted confirmation, it’s quite a way out of my patch but needs must.
Guessing again the carbons arn’t going to be a ‘one off’. Just a cartidge I imagine.
