its either the ntc faulty , or, more likely a pcb fault from what your experiencing

id be looking at the condenser seals, or maybe a crack in the base somewhere
theyre a known poor dryer, and give plenty of hassle, but leaks isnt one of them

Participantthe clear pipe is for overflow, so it doesnt leak and operates the float, which, in turn, as you say, turns off the heater so it no longer condenses, and turns the light on on the front
has drying performance gone poor? i suspect u need to take the actuall condensor itself out and give it a good flush out with a garden hose or shower
this , as you may know is located behind the bottom panel, secured with 3 clips
