the ventilator doesnt split at allnot a lot u can do to prolong its life really, only not use it
you can try and squirt some silicon grease down the shaft, it might get in, it might not

Participanterm, the heaters the most likely culprit
on the tub, below the main pulley
a simple test with a meter will confirm this, plug out of course!!
not sure it was a good idea to mess with the pressure switch though!
helo_75
Participanthave you tried pressing it in, untill it clicks?
worth a try!
helo_75
Participanthave you tried pressing the ‘red’ thing?
it should not be open circuit
unusual, both elements i would have thought should measure the same. the difference between low and high heat is whether it uses one element or 2

Participantbrill.. let us know how you get on
not the best job in the world, just need to take your time really
helo_75
Participantit could be the regeneration chamber
rightly so, it is filled with resin filters, to remove calcium from the water, the salt is used to clean the resin filters of calcium
if its gettin into the wash, the youll need a regeneration chamber
not a nice job either

Participantcommon element that
062057004
hope this helps
helo_75
Participantit is a different element
the dryer heat comes from a heater box on the top of the machine, which is blown air
the wash heater is placed at the bottom of the tank, and is an immersion heater
worth checking with a meter, what nomadpaul is saying is right, its just a time-out, theres something the machine hasnt done
a simple test with a meter will confirm this for you
