Participantwell, u could look at the label on the compressor
or the label on the inside of the fridge, normally behind one of the salad bins
its more likely to be r134a, and the amount (in gms ) will be printed on the rating plate

Participantwe use the masterpart ones the un1103
they tend to be better
helo_75
Participantquite the opposite
you must try and see something through all this
what we as engineers want, is a hassle free aplliance, with a good service network
its fine if you want a maytag
most of us have bosch if we’re honest, iadom even has an older wma32
its not about the best engineering, its about value for money

Participantis there any movement in the drum at all?
that is , if you open the door and try and lift the inner drum, is there any movement?
does it rumble or feel rough as you turn the drum?
it is possible for something to be stuck between the 2 drums, as careful as people are, it can sometimes happen

Participantthe pumps easy
on the front of the machine, at the bottom, theres a flap
open the flap, and unscrew the filter, anti-clockwise then look inside for foreign objects
it may be worth putting a towel down to absorb any waterother than that, it could be a bra wire or something between the drums.. try feeling round the inside of the drum to see if you can feel anything poking out of one of the holes
if either of these arent any help or dont cure your problem, then we’ll be looking at something else ( obviously)
hope this helps

ParticipantThe new timer part number is c00262836 now made by invensys which replaces the elbi one on the IS70 and IS61 range.
the caps with a white cap are a bit crap
if they have a black plastic top, they tend to be betterhowever, its always better to fit an 8uf cap to these wrecks
helo_75
Participantyup, theres actually a new timer to prevent that
lol
hang on ill grab u a part number

Participanttheres no financial crisis in the world, the media are scaremongering
what the guys are trying to tell you is that you will get a strong infrastructure of service agents geared up to serve the customer well
as opposed to maytag, who would be quite happy to leave you dangling for weeks for a part that should be in stock!!
your call at the end of the day

October 27, 2008 at 8:34 pm in reply to: Hotpoint BFI 620 fault codes – where can I get a full list? #266750helo_75
Participantonly in the trade section im afraid
!forum rules prevent us from publishing them in the public domian
sorry
helo_75
Participantdid u check the pump/ clean the condenser
that sort of fault is normally caused by the ntc in the condenser hose failing to read correctly
didnt you go into diagnostics?
