Participantsounds like its syphoning to be honest
was the end of the drain hose pushed right down the waste pipe?
it should only be down 3-4 inches
it seems common on whirlpool machines that
and before you say its been ok for x amounts of months/years, it does happen when the pipe gets sludged up
helo_75
Participanterm, yes
read my post again!!
helo_75
Participantoh yeah, and theyre not expensive
id check them first jsut to make sure
the drum will need to come out to get at emtop/front off
plastic support unscrewed and lifted off
unscrew drum from rear and pull outand your in!

Participantthe pulleys are probably duff
not a nice job, make sure you write ALL the wiring down
helo_75
Participantwell
it could just be the capacitor
carefully, set the dryer going, and give the drum a push to see if it starts to tumble
it could be a timer fault
be very careful though, dont want you hurting yourself.. steer clear off all wires
helo_75
Participantand what a pig to work on these things are
acces is by taking the front off
screws along top, bottom and inside of door
make a note of the wires before you do anythingnot a nice job, is it just humming?

Participanttheres your answer then

suedehead1 wrote:hi,
i will have a go but when the rest of the bosch fan club jump on i will probably wish i hadnt bothered but wait for itHOOVER MAKE 6KG, 7KG, 8KG, AND 9KG LOAD WASHING MACHINES.
i will leave it at that apart from they all come with a 5 year parts guarantee so no need for any warranty nonsense and they are all front loaders.
lol
funny, so funny
welded tubs, non programmable pcbs, weights dropping off and motors going down for laughs
5 yrs parts = £99 per repair, as opposed to extended warranty = one off payment for limitless repairs
or maybe just the 2yr standard bosch warranty
the facts dont change, hoovers not as bad as the indesit tat… but it wont be long if theyre not careful

Participantgive it time, one will fail to install soon enuff
