is what you require
as it states, u really need to use genuine stats, or u will have issueslocated in the back, remove the heater cover (banjo shaped panel, and the stats are over the heater, a basic continuity test will confirm theyre faulty

Participantits a sealed plastic tank…. wont get much change for a complete tub for less than £100
would probably be worth using indesits 5yr parts warranty to keep the costs downhelo_75
Participantif they dont wash out, its likely to be bearing failure to be fair
depends on whether its a plastic tub or a metal tub
helo_75
Participantbe very careful for starters, wear gloves, good ones
remove plug
take off condenser and heater box
remove pulley nut, and 8 bolts on each corner of the spider
if your lucky (and if they do you will be), the spider should come off the shaft of the drum.. avoid using a lump hammer on the shaft, u dont want to damage the threads
not difficult, just tricky, hazardous and time consuming
pleas pleas watch out for the razor sharp edges

Participantoh
and dont take the side panel off – everything is quite accessable by removin the panel underneath

Participantit more likely needs a drum and shaft kit to be honest
are your clothes snagging?
the front felt is well known for coming off, causing heat problems
it will need a drum, the only real cure for the scraping noise, it really is that simple
part number 1703662 for the drum, 1703080 for shaft kit
