Do an insulation test on the element because if they are low they can cause this form of fault.

If I have got the correct lights then that is error F27 in the image below.

That kit has been around for a while and I have fitted quite a few, you just use a 6mm drill bit to drill out the 6 rivets and bolt the new shaft on, easy job with no grinder required.

    You should be getting:
About 400V to 415V between Phases
About 230V between each Phase and Neutral or Earth
About 0V between Neutral and Earth

It definitely looks like a supply issue to me.

I have just bought a couple of the genuine parts and they look the same as the above image, looks like they have a 608z roller bearing in them now instead of the oilite bush.

If the motor is worn then it may not turn when powered so I would start by changing that.

Can you post some board photos please – from memory some boards have a bead inductor which may need changing.

The model is listed on my copy of the pressure switch mod service bulletin (page 16, right hand column) so I would suggest that you fit the mod.

Probably find that the fusible resister on the board is open circuit. assuming that that is the case then replace the SMPS chip (from memory I think LNK364) and the resister and it will be good to go again.

As the armature wasn’t available I ordered QUAMTR134 which was listed as the motor for this machine.

Many Thanks Jim, I will read that when I get back in.

It will be the resistor and switch mode chip, I have done a couple and both are working fine after replacing those components.

Sounds like the PCB power supply is stuck in a restart loop.

Its worth checking that the heating element has continuity and decent insulation resistance as I have had faulty elements bring this fault up before.

The reverse polarity shouldn’t have made much difference although it may be possible.
My personal experience is that this range of smps chip will run for 6 to 7 years and then fail for no obvious reason after which it blows the bead style inductor and then the fusible resistor blows to stop further damage.
