    remove belt then spin drum by hand should sound smooth just like spining a bike wheel if it grinds then bearing are your problem suspension does not cause problems yes you do have to remove front to to fit them

    Yes this is normal for induction motors it is normal to strap 0volts to earth to remove induction and of course 0volts is black cable if removed inductance can create strange faults.

    these boards dont get the wash time exactley right and will extend the time to compensate but your diagnioses could also be correct
