    have never had a problem you cant fit them wrong so is the door twisted failing that i would try another latch kit did you fit latch and springlatch assy

    i had same problem pump was blocked noticed hose had turned red customer said it had been like that for a year or two looked on fastrack for part but customer decided not bother unless a problem arose that was 6mnths ago she justs turns tap off after use dont see why couldnt fit standard hose

    have you checked motor plug for broken wire and continuity to board

    2covers behind kick strip removal can check water in base also motor plug can access if your lucky to be honest get it out drop base 3screw front and back dead easy tip on to left side put some towels down you can then access everything

    could well be something floating around if you get recall i would go straight to the pump

    most prob blocked pump hold prog button down to cancell prog reset to pre wash pump should run for a few secs before fill if you here a humming noise blocked pump is the fault

    it will be the board the best way of fault finding on hotpoint machines check sump /pump for blockage check /test heater/wiring broken to motor pug /motor brushes 8 times out of 10 its none of the above nearly always the board thats my experence

    had an ariston with same fault it turned out it was just syphoning worth checking waste pipe first
