To be perfectly honest it might be time to retire this machine. It is quite old now and although you have had good use it was not one of Creda’s best machines. Add to that the fact that around 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} or more of the parts are already obsolete you could well be wasting time and money on a lost cause.

    ?????.

This machine has the standard Creda heating element assembly. A single unit with two elements. It sits directly central above the fan. I sounds as though you are trying to check this machine by running it with that back off, something you should not do as the elements will not work correctly like this.

A resistance test on both elements should tell you if they are faulty. The dampness sensing components of this machine are completely obsolete but it is at the very least 20 years old and was only in production for 2 years.

Pretty sure they are the same as LFT codes, inoperative module. 🙁

I have merged your posts on the same topic. Constantly posting the same question three or four times is not the way to go. It leads to messy forums with the possibility of confusion.

Several people have read your thread, the lack of answers suggests there is a problem getting this info.
If you want to bring your topic back into view then by all means ‘bump’ your thread by asking the question again in this thread. 😉

Re: Public liability insurance what do you pay

I have been with the Co-op ever since I started on my own so well over 30 years. The highest premium was around £138 but it has reduced in last few years. Last August I paid £122.95, same excess as yours as well.
The Co-op gave up the public liability insurance side about four or five years ago, and the premiums started to be collected by Premiums Credit Direct. Last year it was transferred to Aviva and is controlled by Miles Smith. PO Box 7594 Pitleavis, Perth . PH2 1FA Tel: 0800 0686205

A piece broken of the filter will prevent the pump form draining correctly, may or may not be available as a spare, might need a complete pump assembly.

As the water is ‘pithering’ out as opposed to just dripping, seeping or oozing out I wonder just how much water comes out at a ‘pither’?

But that doesn’t include the pumps plastic body which may well have been damaged by the coins Ken. 😉

The internet is full of garbage and that is just one more example of total b*****ks. 🙁

A good 3 phase motor is generally more reliable than a brush gear motor, it is quieter and obviously doesn’t suffer brush wear but the current crop of BEKO washers with this type of motor seem to be having quite a few problems with motors and modules as well as having a sealed drum.

If pump has been subjected to constant misuse from coins then the body of the pump may have been damaged. Pump is still available in the Store at Ukwhitegoods, follow the link at the top of the page. Quite expensive at £61.80, might be possible to source an ASKO one cheaper by putting that part number in Google.

Not a difficult job to change generally.
