WD440 fan motor is a 1604800, do you mean the one shot stat? If so it is a 1605160.

Lots of mods done on this machines dryer assy, might be better to check if they have been done, if not you may be returning very soon. 😥

C00143206, just under £26.00 list ex vat.
Comes up as ‘no items’ on Masterpart. Has been changed on later models but is not interchangable. 😥

    Re: WMA Rinse aid puzzler

Bearing in mind mine was a WMA which will have a different soap drawer to a WD61. The WD61 has two different dispensers, neither of which is the same as the WMA.

I fitted soap drawer assy complete and it worked perfectly. 🙂

Has yours got the old white removable rinse aid compartment or the later blue lift out cover. If the latter make sure you can blow through the U bend in the cap, ( making sure you don’t blow the blob of detergent or whatever into your eye, as if I would do a thing like that 😳 )

    THE GOOD CATHOLIC BOY

An elderly Italian man, who lived on the outskirts of Monte
Cassino, went to the local church for confession.

When the priest slid open the panel in the confessional, the man
    said:

“Father … During World War II, a beautiful woman knocked on my
door and asked me to hide her from the enemy. So I hid her in my
    attic.”

The priest replied: “That was a wonderful thing you did! You have
    no need to confess that.”

“It’s worse than that, Father. She started to repay me with
    sexual favours.”

The priest said: “By doing that, you were both in great danger.
However, two people under those circumstances can be very tempted
to act that way. But if you are truly sorry for your actions,
    you are indeed forgiven.”

“Thank you, Father. That’s a great load off my mind. But I do
    have one more question. ”

“And what is that?” asked the priest.

“Should I tell her the war is over?”

    Brian,

It may have been better to start a new thread with your question, this one may get overlooked, as it is tagged onto a completely different thread.

He obviously needs a visit from someone who has the expertise to fix it. 😉

First try the last recorded error test, then its time for visual/electrical examination of all wiring/components, then its try a module time. 🙂

The real problem is, what else has he done. 😥

Thanks for that info johhnyj, these machines just get better & better. 😥

Went to a CTD00 today, approx 2 years old. They said it had been a bit noisy but carried on using it :rolls: .

The motor would run but it was very noisy, the black plastic fan at the back had melted in one spot, the one shot had failed and the heating element was shot.

I’m guessing that the motor siezed temporarily, it would had to have stopped to melt the fan in one place, can’t understand why the one shot didn’t cut off before this damage was done though?
