    Re: Thanks to this forum

I’ll move this to the Australasian forum ( I know you don’t always see eye to eye with the Oz) but you will be more likely to get an answer from one or two Aussie guys who know their stuff in here. 😉

    Jim.

PS, Don’t mention the bloody cricket . 😥

If she only spent £300 on a washer dryer then you would be well advised to get your old one ‘sorted’. 😥

Italian tat, grill element OC after 13 months of use. It is connected to the mains via a 13 amp plug & socket as well. 😥

As I could find no obvious fault at the time and the timer did advance on spin I advised the customer to try the machine again, without clothes and whilst she was in the house.

I have just phoned her and she says it worked perfectly on a 40° wash. She is now going to experiment with some clothes that are surplus to requirements. 😆

I do believe it does Jim? Complaints of this slimline not stopping are associated thus!

Poo, it looks just like the base on the Hotpoint ones of the same age, a real pain to get into. 😥

Tech info points towards the board, I am changing one tomorrow for a ‘no spin’ fault, might use it as a test on this one before I invest any dosh, 😀

    Re: VTD00 interlock fitting

I would try with the left hand side panel off first, should just be enough room to wriggle it out from there.
