No, it has two amp tags one on either side for the incoming live/neutral but the feed to the machine is via a small central plug. It also mounts via two small lugs and two screws, nothing like a universal washer or dryer filter.

Unless you know of something similar that will do, I’m stuck waiting. 😥

Is there something with this code error that is preventing me from altering my avatar, tried to change it last night but it failed, tried to revert to the old one and it choked on that as well. 😥

They managed to extract the machine so I popped in this morning to make sure my diagnosis/guesswork was sound. The mains filter has indeed split and is a real mess. Unfortunately it is a special order at Masterpart, I know its a long shot but has anyone got one of these mains filters?

They will not be in the shop, to be honest I have never had to use any of these parts, however an e-mail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should do the trick.

    Re: Another joke.

Three men died on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint Peter at the pearly gates.

“In honour of this holy season” Saint Peter said,
“You must each possess something that symbolizes Christmas to get into heaven”.

The first man fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a lighter.

He flicked it on. “It represents a candle”, he said.
“You may pass through the pearly gates” Saint Peter said.

The second man reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys.
He shook them and said, “They’re bells.”
Saint Peter said “You may pass through the pearly gates”.

The third man started searching desperately through his pockets
and finally pulled out a pair of women’s panties.
St. Peter looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked,

“And just what do those symbolize?”
The man replied, “These are Carols.”

And So The Holiday Season Begins…. 😆

Re: Zanussi DW908 – Water not draining – Drain pump broken?

£100 is a little on the high side for a drain pump. It may just be blocked or otherwise obstructed. Not the hardest pump to change but we have know way of knowing your level of competence, if in doubt, don’t. 😉

Try the link at the bottom of this post to see if we have someone in your area who can help.

Several parts involved in this assembly, have you not found any in the laundry ?

    Sensor head. 1740385
    Sensor holder 1740386
    Sensor support 1740387

This does not include the nut and lock washer. that secure these parts to the drum. You may find those in the bottom of the dryer.

Cannot see anything remotely like that number on Partfinder Ian, all Creda built ins begin with 4 or a letter.

You should be able to find the full model number on the back near a barcode label.

Does it have a small digital display?

I wondered about that, damned stupid if you ask me.
