ModeratorRe: hotpoint washing machine mod wma34
Usually possible to refit tacho magnet on some motors, depends if it isBosch, FHP or Ceset.
I have managed to refit the odd one for exactly this fault, similar to same problem on Hoover/Zanussi motors.

ModeratorRe: AEG 72620 Drum support
Its the second one of these I have seen this week, first was was just a blocked pump, bloody solid jobs, almost as heavy as the Titan. 😀
I think the fact that when the drum is revolving slowly, it is so obviously off centre makes me suspect the support but pulling or lifting it is not conclusive. I have seen Hotpoint and Indesit stainless steel drums distort but I would guess that this one is made of sterner stuff.
I will look up the cost of the bits first then get back to them.

ModeratorRe: BEKO765S
Thanks for your reply baron, I did test the small switch on the PCB and it appeared to be working, I could hear it when I pressed the Start button before I replaced the facia. Although the button was pressed in, the fact that the board itself was loose meant that the bits of the button had fallen inside the facia.

ModeratorRe: Hotpoint washer/dryer WD440P
It sounds as though some small piece of the rubbish you found may have gone into the pump, jamming it. bra wires are common.

ModeratorRe: INDESIT 103 HELP
List the neons by number rather than name, then got to page #3 of the known error codes thread at the top of this forum, post by Dave Conway about halfway down, Indesit WIDL codes are the same.

ModeratorRe: Hotpoint DWF30 heater box
There are two different heater boxes for the Hotpoint machine dependant on date code, however I did fit a Bosch one a few months ago to a Hotpoint machine, it was almost half the price of the Hotpoint one, cannnot remember part number but will try and find it if nobody else comes up with it.
Jim.
EDIT, found it, Bosch No: 481274…£40.00 + vat from Masterpart. 😀

ModeratorRe: Hotpoint washer/dryer WD440P
Lights 2+4 flashing suggest pressure switch stuck on full. A blockage of some kind is the most likely cause, unlikely to be the pump itself. please remove the plug if you intend to investigate further or click the link in my sig to see if we have someone who can help.

ModeratorRe: Another joke.
Three Little Pigs went out to dinner one night. The waiter came and took their drink order.
“I would like a Sprite,” said the first little piggy.
“I would like a Coke,” said the second little piggy.
“I want beer, lots and lots of beer,” said the third little piggy.
The drinks were brought out and the waiter took their orders for dinner.
“I want a nice big steak,” said the first piggy.
“I would like the salad plate,” said the second piggy.
“I want beer, lots and lots of beer,” said the third little piggy.
The meals were brought out and a while later the waiter approached the table and asked if the piggies would like any dessert.
“I wan t a banana split,” said the first piggy.
“I want a root beer float,” said the second piggy.
“I want beer, lots and lots of beer,” exclaimed the third little piggy.
“Pardon me for asking,” said the waiter to the third little piggy, but why have you only ordered beer all evening?”
You’re gonna LOVE, this….
The third piggy says –
“Well, somebody has to go ‘Wee, wee, wee, all the way home!

You need to tell us which lights, by number, not name, from top down are flashing, this is an error code.

ModeratorRe: Creda 1000 supaspeed ecowash – not heating.
It is unlikely you will be able to test the heater itself from the economy switch, the heater circuit involves the control unit, pressure switch and economy switch. Have you tried it with the economy switched ‘ON’, you may have your connections wrong on this switch if it has not worked since you fitted it.
