If you cannot see anything Rob it may be blocked by your firewall settings.
I can see it perfectly but I would wait until you have had your lunch first, not a pretty sight. 😉

As I said, ‘or heat related’ you may have disturbed something such as the temp sensor.

Suggests a possible heater or related fault. Please remove the mains plug if you intend to go further or click the link in my sig to see if we have someone who can help.

Not if you have cable 8) I have a dial up ISP and also Ntl cable 4 meg BB, no filters needed, I can use the modem to send faxes at the same time as I am using the BB cable connection. Also serves as a backup should the cable go down, ( it has only failed once in over 4 years).
I’m surprised the new PC doesn’t already have a modem installed. Have you checked in Device Manager to see if there is one and if it is configured correctly. I would assume that you have plugged a cable into a normal phone socket and into the back of your PC before you tried to get a dial tone ❓
Also possible that you have a modem but its drivers have not been installed, check any CD roms or other discs that came with the new PC.
Jim.
NB. To get to Device Manager, click Start/Control Panel/ Performance & Maintenance/System… Click on the ‘Hardware’ tab then select Device Manager, look down the list for Modem. If there is one click the + symbol then Right click on the named modem and select Properties. That should give you its current status ( if there is a modem in there of course ) 🙂

Heater , heater wiring, PCB etc. 4 + 6 neons suggest a heat related fault.

ModeratorRe: indesit 🙁
Drum & duct kit, includes complete plastic duct assy & filter and reverts back to the old style bearing pads, inner drum, stats, extra fan, rear back panel and all seals. Part number 1702495, list price just under £50 ex vat.
A good repair but pricy.
NB. If you do order one of these be sure to check the contents of the box, I have had several and I would guess that 1 in 3 have been damaged in transit. 😥

Only a temporary fix changing the felt seal, a full drum & duct kit is the only ‘long term’ repair for seal failure on all pre date code 07 machines.

Chafed wiring harness, analogue motor in digital machine, someone had a fiddle before you got to it, pure speculation really ❓ 😕

The WD52 which is available would be near enough for your machine.

ModeratorRe: Creda T/D TVR2
Yep, should come with new style, bronze bearing.
But then the Hoover door latch kit 97917108 that I have waited over 3 weeks for should have included a spring, it was missing from the bag and guess what, the customer has thrown the old one away. Trailed all the way to the other end of my area on a wild goose chase this afternoon. 😈
