Could you beat Richardo from 12 yards? 🙄

Could Gerrard, Lampard etc replace a WMA drum in under 1 hour 😉 , if I made such an arse of my job I would be on the dole.

One another note, strange how everyone is now raving about Italy, its seems to have slipped from memory the way they cheated to beat Australia. 👿

I thought that, when this story first broke in the local papers a couple of weeks ago, when I saw the original picture I noticed that he is much better looking than our JH. 😉 😆

PS. Notice the Rochdale road he was caught speeding on, Albert Royd St, local wags often mention his wife Emma. 😆

Still doesn’t alter the fact that multi million pound players, on astronomical wages, can’t beat a keeper from 12 yards. The best the new England manager can do is enlist Matt Le Tissier as the penalty coach, his philosophy, hit the ball hard and straight into the side netting. Sounds difficult,…… Le Tissier scored 48 out of 49 penalties in his career.

Glad to hear you have sorted the problem, when you consider that those of us in the trade would expect to do this type of call in under 45 minutes together with another eight or ten calls of various kinds every day,I hope it gives you some idea of the skill, expertise and depth of knowledge required to make a success of running an ‘independant’ business in the whitegoods industry. 😉

    Jim.

PS. You did apply bearing loctite to the shaft and bearings, and also thread loctite to the pulley securing nut?

To be honest, I have no problems at all with the 1600474 laminated brushes in the later white holders as long as the comm is in good condition and they last longer than 161460’s.

Would never, ever fit pattern ones.

Have you actually tested the element ? Could be reset stat, wiring, controls etc.

If you can confirm the element is faulty then an e-mail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should get things moving.

Plug out at all times when working on the patient. :zap:

Loose tacho magnets and faulty tacho coils very common on these machines.

    Re: hotpoint wm72 1200 ultima

To access this machine properly you have to remove the whole of the front cabinet panel, you do not need to remove the grey rubber door seal from the drum, you do not need to remove the drum front to check the heater. You do however need the correct electrical test equipment.

If you are unsure then please take care, remove the mains plug at all times and if you get stuck try the link in my sig to see if we have someone who can help.

For safety and legal reasons we connot go into blow by blow details on repairs.
