ModeratorRe: Diplomat DW ADP8132
Message received Dave, thanks. I don’t know what is coming over me today, I have even broken my rule of the past 20 years and offered to go and look at a Servis 😥 for someone who sounds desperate, and its not as though I am in need of these type of calls. 🙂

ModeratorRe: HOTPOINT BFI680 D/WASHER
Led’s four to seven are used for the error codes on this machine.
However, just having a quick check they don’t appear to coresspond exactly with the 100 bit codes in lotusrays post.
Let me know which lights are flashing, I will try to sort out the info ASAP
BFI 62 & BFI 68 both appear to have slight variations.
I have now done a small edit on lotusrays post to include 7 led machines. HTH.

Didn’t want to start another thread, have done a quick search for ADP8132 dishwashers and read through them, nothing specific to this call.
I have not yet been to this machine, in fact I have never touched a Diplomat before, even in the flesh 😉 .
This customer has just moved into this house so is not familiar with the machine and can find no user manual.
She reports that she can select various programmes and the indicator light moves along to each setting, but nothing else happens after closing door.Would any of the info that you sent to DP be of any help to me Ken?

I will grudgingly admit that you’ve got the best striker in the world playing for you, Gegsy.
Chris.
A simple typo, easily rectified 🙂 , question is how long will Arsenal be able to hang on to him.

ModeratorRe: TDS DVD
The TDS disc 2005 & now the 2006 run perfectly on both my desktop and laptop, both of which have XP SP2. It is nothing to do with IE, it may just be that your version is now out of date.
For the sake of £25.00 I think you should get the latest 2006 version part number 506006065-00/3
The only real problems recently seem top have been due to conflicts with different versions of Acrobat Reader, however I have both Acrobat Reader V5 & V7 on both PC’s and TDS works fine.iadom

What beats me is why a London club, playing another London club needs to stay a hotel overnight anyway. ❓

Do you mean the bearing seal or the the seal between the front of the drum and the front panel?
Thanks again
Steve
Not the grey rubber seal between the front panel and drum front, the large hoop shaped rubber seal between the drum front and the outer drum itself, and the bearing seal.

Particularly apposite that they should condemn Oxford Utd to non league status, ironic that Oxford took the place of Accrinton Stanley 44 years ago.
Also very chuffed to see MK Dons going down again, what the owner did to Wimbledon FC was a disgrace. Still the new Wimbledon are slowly but surely on the way up. 🙂

Rocker, I will send you the config and fault test info. It is for a WMA44 but it has the same 1604321 control module.

For safety and legal reasons we cannot go into great detail. To be honest this repair depends a great deal on the condition of the failed bearings and the drum shaft. To do the job correctly you also need the correct tools to refit the new bearings, and a new drum front seal should also be fitted. The basics should be obvious to anyone with sufficient technical ability, the front panel has to be removed to access the outer drum.
A competant engineer with the correct tools would be your best course of action. Please make sure you remove the plug if you intend to proceed.

No internal fuse, machine is actually a Bosch so should be well worth someone having a look.

ModeratorRe: Site very slow.?
So what went wrong today, 😉
This morning at around 9.30 all I got was a blank page and this evening at around 5.30 if I tried to edit my posts I kept getting a message warning me that I could only edit my posts with the only option a return to the post. If I tried to post a reply or view a thread I was sent to the login screen even though I was logged in.
Is it the hot weather. 😆
seems OK now.

ModeratorRe: H/point TDL31 front bearing felt mod?
This model has been completely revamped in this area. The conversion kit includes a new inner drum, plastic front duct, plastic bearing pads, filter, wiring mods, stats, seals, fan, etc, etc. You will be hard pushed to bring this one home under Hotpoints £90.00 labour charge.
Unless the date code is 07 or higher, this was when the change was made.
Kit is a 1702495, around £50.00 ex vat. 😥
There is a nice picture of the kit at Masterpart.
One word of warning if you do order this kit, check out the condition of the parts on delivery, I have had one or two badly dented drums due to mishandling.
