    Re: HPT WMA60

I will e-mail you the diagnostics routine, the one I have is for WMA62/63 but it is virtually the same. Not come across that fault.

Post by lotusray on page #2 of the ‘Known Error Codes’ thread has your answer, this machine has the 100 bit controls.

Partfinder does show a pressure switch.

Could be intermittant valve or connection fault.

Well if certain teams 😉 didn’t field eleven foreigners most of the time then perhaps more English talent would come to the fore. 🙄 🙂

Well, I certainly would, £4 million a year and never won a thing for England, and the lovely Nancy to come home to ( sometimes ) 😉

No doubt another highly overpaid job lined up, I’ll have some of that any day. 😀

    Re: Hotpoint WF000G W/M

According to Partfinder even the original part number for earlier WMA machines has been superceded by this ‘zipper’ type clip. If is similar to the one used on the outer seal to cabinet lip then it is fairly easy to refit.

Must remember to have a close look at the next newish machine I visit.

Would appear to be 1701971 for models before DC 83. one of the other timer’s mentioned is the reversing timer in the base. This was deleted on later models. I suspect this timer kit will come with mods for this.

    Re: Elektro-Helios DI830-3 won’t fill

I have just gone through all the Elektro-Helios listed on the UK DVD from Electrolux.

Around thirty models, apart from one cooker extractor hood, all the other machines are either cookers or refrigeration.

Difficult to be exact, the Electrolux software in the UK does not recognise those model/ PNC numbers.

    Re: Known Error Codes

Codes for most Hotpoint WF, WD, BWD and WT machines without digital display.
To save my keyboard and avoid RSI these can be read in conjunction with Dave Conway’s post on page 3 of this thread regarding WIDL codes

The On/Off neon together with a combination of the five left hand option neons will flash if a fault is detected.

These codes are reading from the top neon down.

    F01….OFF, OFF, OFF, Flash, OFF.
    F02….OFF, OFF, Flash, OFF, OFF.
    F03….OFF, OFF, Flash, Flash, OFF.
    F04….OFF, Flash, OFF, OFF, OFF.
    F05….OFF, Flash, OFF, Flash, OFF.
    F06….OFF, Flash, Flash, OFF, OFF.
    F07….OFF, Flash, Flash, Flash, OFF.
    F08….Flash, OFF, OFF, OFF, OFF.
    F09….Flash, OFF, OFF, Flash, OFF.
    F10….Flash, OFF, Flash, OFF, OFF.
    F11….Flash, OFF, Flash, Flash, OFF.
    F12….Flash, Flash, OFF, OFF, OFF.
    F13….Flash, Flash, OFF, Flash, OFF.
    F14….Flash, Flash, Flash, OFF, OFF.
    F15….Flash, Flash, Flash, Flash, OFF.
    f16….OFF, OFF, OFF, OFF, Flash.
    F17….OFF, OFF, OFF, Flash, Flash.
F18….OFF, OFF, ON, OFF, OFF. Fault on control board, check Eeprom.

Faults without error codes. If the motor is O/C ( worn brushes ) the machine will not fill or operate.

The digital display models will generate the actual fault code, ie; F01 etc.

Additional information, courtesy of johhnyj. A main heater failure will not generate any error codes, the machine will not advance out of the wash cycle.

Indesit WIDL & Ariston Codes, same as codes for most Hotpoint WF & WD machines without digital display.

Also Hotpoint BWD, BWM, WF & some WD, left hand lights from top to bottom or digital display.

widl codes – light flashing from left to right are numbers 1-4

    Also IWM & IWME models.

    f01 light 4, motor triac
    f02 light 3 motor, jammed/ tacho
    f03 lights 3&4 Ntc fault
f04 light 2. pressure sw stuck on empty
f05 lights 2&4, pressure sw stuck on full
f06 lights 2&3, Door Lock does not Open or Close: Check door lock, wiring
connections at door lock and J004.
f07 lights 2&3&4 heater relay or O/C element.
    f08 light 1. heater relay
    f09 lights 1&4 eprom/setup error
f10 lights 1&3, pressure switch not sensing
    f11 lights 1&3&4, pump/draining error
    f12 lights 1&2, communication error
    f13 lights 1&2&4, dryer ntc/ fan motor
    f14 lights 1&2&3, dryer heater
f15 lights 1&2&3&4, dryer heater relay
    f16 N/A
    f17 light 4, door lock
f18 light 3 comms error (3 phase motor) power board

f1 and f17 share the same light

Re: INDESIT IS70C 1 very loud

I would just phone Comet and insist that they come out and repair your dryer under guarantee, do not be put of by their scare tactics. If your neighbours can hear it then it is obviously faulty. If I was in your situation I would get them out at once, if they tried to charge me after they had called, I would tell them firmly but politely to “get s*****d”. It is only 2 months old after all.
