Feared as much, old bloke living on his own, just been fitted with a hearing aid at the age of 92 😯 , he looks in tip top order and apart from the weight so does his machine, ah well. 😥

C00066074 = “cradle set outer” if it is, I hope that contains the part you need as well, if not I’m goosed on this one.

    Dave.
If I enter that in W123 it comes up as ‘Not Found’ it is in the W133 parts list though, doesn’t look much like a support leg to me. ❓

Might be time for the trusty digital camera. 😉

    You’ve just done it. 🙂
Every time a new post is added to a thread it goes back to the top of the list, below the ‘sticky’ threads.

You may get lucky but cooker wiring diagrams will be thin on the ground. 😥

Need exact serial number, different motors, drums and mountings.

    Also is it a W123UK BG/M or BG/P ?

Partfinder lists W123UK (BG) but comes up with ‘No Parts Listed’ ❓

Direct contact with Hotpoint may be your only option if you don’t get a reply soon. The only cooker manuals I have are several years old. I have deleted your duplicate post from three days ago, if you want to ‘bump’ a post please use the original one, it helps to keep things tidy. 😉

Are you sure, handle kit is around £5.50 to £6.00 +vat. Door assembly is only available as a complete unit, part number C00112088 about £35 to £40.00 + vat. 😥

Part number is a C00096865, an e mail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should do the trick.

The one in your link is the wrong one. 😉

Full model number and serial number if you can please. These are made under license for Currys if my memory is correct, ( if not its Comet ) they could have different manufacturers.

If the ends of the brushes are nice and shiny then they are OK. Back to one of my earlier questions, what happens if you set it to rinse & spin, or spin only?

We cannot go into chapter and verse for safety reasons, suffice it to say there are two brushes in the main motor.

As an afterthought, has the machine been very noisy recently?

I was always amused by the label they included in the 161408 & 161410 motors that came out supposedly as new, they had in fact had new armatures & brushes fitted to old motors. They were not reconditioned or refurbished, oh no, something much grander, they had been ‘recycled’ 😆
