    Re: UKW-Thank you

Can’t remember if was if it was ‘Strange Encounters’ or some other film, but the words “You are not alone” are very apt as regards UKWG. As the musketeers shouted, “All for one, and one for all” . I’m sure that here are many of us who are thankful for the back up that UKWG gives freely to us all. 8)

That is about as far as you can go without proper test equipment and specialist knowledge, time to bite the bullet and call for a professional. 😉

Can you hear the door lock click,it should, can you open the door a few seconds after you have pressed the on/off switch, you should not be able to do. If so it could be your door interlock switch, but it could also have other causes. The best advice is to see if we have someone in your area who can help, click on my sig to check. Plug out if you are going to investigate further.

F02 on previous model WF 800 range with similar display is
    Motor jammed/ Motor tacho detached.

Just checked on Partfinder and these machines have the same console module as the WF800 models.

Any news on how NDT is going, or will we have to wait until the next meeting?

Should I take the silence as a, yes, don’t know, not telling, or mind your own b****y business. 😉 🙂

If you saw as many fitted kitchens ( badly fitted kitchens ) as we do then with regard to the question of the plug, it could be any of your suggestions and a few more exotic ones as well. More than likely you will have a 13 amp fused plug and wall socket behind the machine, isolated by the switch above, which is by far the best and safest option. If you cannot access the plug without removing the dishwasher and it is completely dead then it is time to seek someone with the correct tools and test equipment.
If the fuse has blown then you should only try one new fuse at the most before having the machine looked at.

If you need a new handle then it comes as a complete kit with pin, spring and latch, not very expensive. Part number C00065250, you can order from shop@ukwhitegoods.co.uk 🙂

When I used to use Comfort, I always watered it down. you could check the fill valve filters at the back of the machine, turn off the water and remove the hoses, the plastic mesh filters inside the valves should be clear, if you have had any dirty water through the mains it can clog the filter and reduce the water flow.

Hi GB. My machine is also a WMA62 and I have no problems, is your cold water pressure poor?

I wouldn’t let Aldi’s own brand detergents near my machine but use their ANCOsoft fabric conditioner without any problems, might be worth trying an alternative product.

Are you cleaning the channel under the drawer, on the left hand side from the front, you may need to poke down the hole from the conditioner compartment to clear. Also avoid using thick conditioners, don’t overfill, and make sure you do not store your fabric conditioner in a very cold environment.
Try using tablets ( Ariel dispenses well) instead of powder to prevent it splashing over into the fabric conditioner and make sure the blue flap at the back of the right hand side of the drawer is raised out of the way.

Sadly true, I think I will muddle along without the £130 + vat hardware key. The display does give error codes so I will manage with that for the moment. 😥

Re: Indesit DI67 trouble / error codes

Door switch itself is quite cheap, about £6.00, the locking mechanism is around £20 + vat. There are some modifications to this assembly so you would need full serial number to identify the correct parts.
