ModeratorRe: hotpoint wma34 leak
You would not see water down the front of the machine from a hole in the door seal, unless the lip of the seal was damaged or the water was leaking from the soap dispenser due to drawer needing cleaning or very high water pressure.

Don’t have that model but may have the equivalent Hotpoint model, do you know the date code, also how many connections are used on the relay 4 or 6 ?

Fairly certain it is bearing kit C00090555. Not over expensive and available as a pattern spare, not sure of the numbers but DC will know. Can be *** of a job to do, very sharp edges and paper thin stainless steel drum. π₯

The first thing to look for are small holes in the door seal, the usual cause of leaks from the front, look carefully inside the folds.

Well documented problem, just hold the On/Off button and the Start button in for a few seconds to clear.
Several threads in the public forums.

Just a small point bikerboy, it helps to keep the forum tidy if you do not make multiple posts on the same subject.

When I worked for Hotpoint I used to always try to have this week off. otherwise I found myself sitting in the van waiting for calls allocated over the radio. You ended up going back and forwards from one end of your area to another for the odd call here and there.
This last six weeks have been the busiest I can remember at this time of the year for many years, still booked for next three days, not done any present shopping yet. π Still seven days work is better than one. π

Morning bikerboy,
There are so many different possible causes of this fault, your machine needs attention from someone with the correct electrical test equipment and specific product knowledge. The best advice I can give ATM is to have a look here. Repairs@Please be sure to remove the plug if you intend to proceed further yourself.

Not worth starting another thread for (BTW I ‘moved’ my first post today, a fridge question in the washer section π )
I have just noticed that if I use the ‘view posts since last visit’ then my control panel reverts to the basic one without the moderator controls. I assume that is normal?
