Inner door is 1602464, I always carry several pairs of 1603030 hinge blocks, these are white but you can barely see them when the door is closed. No one has ever complained about them not being Natural Linen or whatever. 😉 They will fit all Hotpoint machines with the 1602473 hinge.

Any particular models to stay away from? I was thinking of ones with the electronic balance.

That rules out any Hotpoint WM machine with a hybrid timer. ( timer and electronics all in one unit).

Hi Lee, have you tried to find the last error detected code. Look in the ‘Error codes’ thread on page 3. Not foolproof but does work most of the time.

I can also give full Service Test programme details if you need them.

I have seen the occasional loose tacho magnet cause this fault on the Ceset motors.

I’ll be going the M1 way, slightly longer journey but it takes me 5 minutes to reach M62 from home, over to M1 then straight down avoiding the M60/ M6, and the nightmare of Birmingham altogether.

You could try writing to them, or phoning, 😥

That link is the one posted in the general enquiries section and was working until recently, not sure why it is now defunct???

Door locking assy is part No: C00078609
    Rocker switch No: C00041194

An e-mail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should do the trick.

    Re: Hotpoint Dishwasher DWF32

You could run a service test programme then post the results and I may be able to be more specific.

With the dishwasher switched off, press and hold buttons for Normal Wash( S2) & Quick Wash (S4) simultaneously. Switch the dishwasher On then release buttons S2 & S4. Lights 2 & 4 should be flashing to indicate Service Programme is active. The machine will then go through ten steps taking approx 10/12 minutes to complete. Report back on any error numbers that appear in the display ignoring 1 if that appears.

If it will not go through this test sequence then the module will more than likely be faulty, very expensive and not now available from Hotpoint, But possibly repairable

    Re: Hotpoint Dishwasher DWF32

Not come across this exact fault on a Hotpoint, however I think this is a Bosch produced machine, could be that some of the Bosch experts may have seen it. There is a test procedure and service test programme to assist in fault finding, best left to an engineer with the required information. One problem will be that if the fault is in the control module ( it does sound likely ) then this is already listed as obsolete by Hotpoint/Indesit.
Not sure if a Bosch suppiled unit would fit, it may also be possible to have the module repaired if it is faulty.
Very little you can do yourself, best to have a look in.

Prewash light flashing suggests the base is flooded. You may be able to drain by tilting the appliance backwards but you still require someone with the required expertise to diagnose and cure the source of the leak.
