You suspect wrong , however as you have not given us a model number we cannot say for sure if it is likely to be worn brushes or not. You should not attempt to get it going like you are or keep running it or you run the risk of doing expensive damage.

Does it run up to full speed without a load in it and without any signs of sparking from the motor. The OOB protection is known to be a bit sensitive on BEKO’s

Looking at his previous posts I suspect this may not even be his own machine. 😉

I am fairly sure that even the Bosch engineers don’t have circuit diagrams at board level.

Ebay is the place to look for second hand boards.

It’s surprising how many times over the years I have had customers complain of holes in the seal when they have spotted the drain holes for the first time. 🙂

That should cover everything then. 😆

Re: Whirlpool 1200 Electronic AWG 345/4

According to THIS list available from the help & advice menu at the top of the homepage F14 is a fault on the main circuit board.

The AWG will almost certainly use the same error codes.

    EEEPROM error

The main controller gets all its instructions from an EEPROM that is fitted onboard the main controller PCB, if there is an error reading this software then you will see this error appear.

It is worth noting that this is uncommon and to damage the EEPROM permanently as it is hard coded. We often comment that two things can alter a washing machine’s program software, physical damage to the chip or board and an electro-magnetic pulse, which is highly unlikely. These software instructions are designed to remain unchanged and cannot be altered without some form of interference normally. In other words, the problem has been caused by something outside of the washing machine.

On this range of Whirlpool washing machines the error can be show as a result of a mains power glitch, usually a power spike.

You can attempt to reset the washing machine by removing power for a short period and then reconnecting, it may clear the error.

Should that fail to work Whirlpool recommend that the test program is run to check the EEPROM, if this fails then you must replace the main electronic control board.

    Re: washing machine trips electrics

If you have a megger or good quality multimeter and know how to use one correctly then the first thing you should do is to isolate the machine from the mains power and then check all components for insulation faults. you should start with the heating element and the main motor.

500 units, hope they are not all Bush machines. :crying:

I don’t think todays edition is available just yet.

Just double checked and it was on the This Morning show with Phillip Schofield.

Just watched Alice Beer on ITV morning show, giving Hotpoint a right bashing about this.

Should be available on Catch Up HERE sometime later today or tomorrow.
