Re: white knight 44aw not stopping

All service manuals and wiring diagrams available HERE

At a quick glance there are several variants of the 44A so full number from plate on back panel needed.

Quite a cull of the oldies going on ATM, Lemmy, Bowie, Glen Frey, Dale Griffin ( Mott the Hoople) all in the past weeks. 🙁

    Re: Wixl143 won’t switch on

Look on the back, the full numbers are often on there.

    There is a 143UK, 143SUK, 143SUK/Y and a 143UKTEV.

The ones with S in the model are just the silver grey variants.

That is the correct element for a CTD40, just not your CTD40.

for suppliers look no further than HERE 😉

    Re: Wixl143 won’t switch on

The on/off switch is part of the console pcb, at least three different versions of this model so full model number including any suffix is needed to ID. This PCB is around £60 but the main pcb can also cause this problem as well.

On my iPad ATM , will give you the correct part number later when I have checked on my main PC but I can tell you that is the wrong part. The white and black components you refer to are the ntc’s. They are not interchangeable .

EDIT: The correct part number is C00258799.

It speaks volumes when one of the main posters on NAC’s Facebook page is Tony Clifton. :eeek:

    Re: Hotpoint Tumble Dryer CTD40P

Either incorrectly wired or wrong heater fitted or the pcb is faulty or has been damaged.

Have you contacted Hotpoint about the safety/fire risk recall on this appliance?

NB. There are four different heaters for this model as well and it has a safety stat, a cycling stat AND an ntc fitted.

If you can give us the full serial number and the commercial code from inside the door and the part number of the heater you have fitted we can tell if you have the correct one.

There could be an error in the official manual as far as the description of each light is concerned but the position or ‘number’ of the lights is the same regardless. See attached image.

1+2+4 is F11, pump cannot be activated.

You do have an Indesit machine which is known to have some of the flakiest electronics on the market so anything is possible. 🙁

Deleted a post by PaulG in the latest 1st4service thread. He was asking Martin for details of the ‘mystery’ WP as he has just started back self employed. 😥

First three lights from bottom upwards on steady is F07, heater relay stuck, faulty pcb most likely cause.
