Door switch for this model is £16.50 max, part No: C00095630 and you can pick up a decent standard vent hose for around £7.00 from the shop here at UKWG’s.

    Switch is HERE

PS. It takes about five minutes or less to change the door switch.

Strange, there is no such component as a pressure release valve on this appliance. ❓ ❓

Do you mean the pressure switch?

F06 which is a door lock related fault. could be faulty door interlock, wiring connections or even worn motor brushes.

Has this chap applied for trade access yet, I did PM him a few days ago advising him not to keep adding his web site url to his posts and asking him very politely to join the trade membership. I did tell him it was fine to add it to his profile which he has now done. 🙂

The initial warranty should cover parts AND labour for the first 12 months unless the fault is caused by misuse. You appear to have done all you can so give them a ring.

In that case check the tiny micro switch first, usually possible to resolder the connections with care and a steady hand. Then when refitting fold some cardboard to make a wedge behind the pcb to hold it tight.

    Re: Hotpoint WD440 not starting

Apart from loose connections between the two pcb’s or one or two of the left hand vertical buttons sticking in then failure of either board is likely. The tiny micro switches on the console pcb are rather weak and prone to the solder connections breaking before the little micro switch falls off altogether as well.

    Re: Kettle fire tech question

Why not mention the manufacturer, several well known, long established ‘British’ brands are that in name only and for instance Russell Hobbs and Kenwood to name just two have been cheap, cut to the bone Chinese made for many years. To get two years out of one these is very much average to good sadly. In fact one reason you don’t hear of lots of them setting on fire after two years is due to the fact a lot of them don’t last that long in the first place. 🙁

Looking at your IP I’m guessing you may be posting from Spain.
Sadly that model number bears no resemblance to anything sold in the UK and the error code is not known either.

You need to contact someone in your own area TBH.
