A strong possibility the TOC stat which is a one shot device has failed. A thermostat kit is required. you should be able to test the two stats for continuity, the green spot one is the TOC.

ModeratorRe: Bosch washing machine: noise during spin
not easy but if you rotate the drum by hand through the door opening until each individual drum paddle/lifter is at the bottom then press down hard on the inner drum and see if there is any sign of it flexing. Sadly a very expensive repair. 🙁
I am not over familiar with this machine but some Bosch washing machines also get a knocking noise from the suspension units as well.

Possibly a broken drum support spider, the full model number would be a great help but it does sound like a major failure. 🙁

Where did you buy it from, what part number have you got, which ‘attachment’?

ModeratorRe: Hotpoint WMA 30 Cuts out
The main test/ repair company used by the trade is EMW, however there is a strong chance that their testing facilities may not show up a very unusual fault such as this.
I once had a WMA pcb returned as ‘no fault found’ , the machine had an erratic motor action. By trail and error and a new motor and wiring harness I eventually confirmed the PCB as faulty . 🙁

I see. 🙂
It does point towards a pcb fault but a very rare one indeed. :con:
The correct part number is C00199331 or the old Hotpoint number 1603828. Other boards will not work.
You also need to check on the age/ serial number of your machine because the wiring plug to the boards changed at date code 81.

ModeratorRe: BEKO D/W overheating?
If as sounds likely this is a PCB fault does anyone know the part number/price of one of these?
Jim.

I assume you have already asked these questions at selfix-uk?
The pcb must be the correct part number,
