Re: Hotpoint WMA34 heating element location

Merged topics, best to keep it to one thread or it get gets a bit messy.

Did you test the old heater first and if so did you find a fault on the old heater such as low insulation?

If the initial fault was not the heater but the wiring harness near the front concrete weight then moving the wires as you replaced the heater could explain why it now doesn’t trip.

it may well have damaged the main pcb though 🙁

A minefield trying to find the right numbers, I have emailed you some screen grabs, hopefully you will be able to work out what you need.

Re: Hotpoint dishwasher FDW80 – where is leak as rust on flo

Impossible to say without us removing the base plate and looking at it. Besides which the machine should have stopped working, switched the drain pump on and flashed an error message if it was leaking internally. ❓

Re: Creda W220VW washing machine Fill Problem/s

Just a thought, what is the serial number/date code? At date code 42 the machine was changed from a H+C fill to C fill only. There are different programming instructions for the H+C and the C fill machines. It will fill through the rinse valve to start the programme then switch to the hot valve or cold wash valve to give a timed fill for the wash programmes.

If the rinse valve is faulty then you would get the symptoms you describe. It is possible that the valve is failing intermittently. allowing a small amount of water for the initial fill but failing when it gets to the rinse cycle. ❓

Pressure chamber=pressure bell. Possibly time to try a fill valve. 😉

Its only a game, for a long time it did look as though Southampton came for a single point, only one shot on target from both teams is rather poor, I would have hooked Di Maria at half time. :rolls:

It gets better with practise, I have done 6 or 7 on that model, takes just over an hour. 😉

Leave the motor connected to the drum at all times and lift the whole assembly out through the front. 8)

just got in from OT, it was that bad I nearly left at half time. :rolls:

Both teams very poor, only one shot on target in the whole game, as bad as anything Moyes served up. 🙁
